About Financial Concierge™

A Financial Concierge™ provides professional power of attorney and executor services for Canadians who need help with responsibilities associated with these roles.  We can be appointed as an executor and/or “attorney”, or act as an agent to provide support and coaching for the appointed representatives.  As a fiduciary, we assume the risk, focus solely on the best interests of our clients and are accountable for the work we deliver.  From assuming all the executor tasks required to settle an estate to performing day to day financial activities and resourcing health care providers under Powers of Attorney, we provide the experience, oversight, project management, and engagement with the necessary professionals to deliver positive outcomes for our clients.

After a complimentary initial consultation, fees are charged on an hourly basis plus a travel fee. For estate administration work we charge a percentage of estate value. Please call us for our current hourly rate and fee structure.

All Financial Concierges have good to excellent credit scores verified annually and a clear background check including a vulnerable sector report.  We are members of the Certified Executor Advisor Network (CEAN) and comply with its Code of Ethics. Many members of the team have other professional designations that dictate strict standards of conduct that are monitored to ensure ongoing compliance.

Financial Concierge Inc. has been serving Canadians since 2018, is incorporated with annual audited statements, and has been vetted and approved by the Better Business Bureau.

Financial Concierge Inc. carries $2M Commercial General Liability and $2M Professional Liability insurance which covers all Financial Concierges. We also secure executor insurance at the time we commence executor duties to protect ourselves and our clients’ beneficiaries from liability.

No. Our power of attorney services for property and personal care help our clients remove the stress and anxiety of managing day to day health and  financial activities. As “attorney” for property we perform daily money management activities to ensure bills get paid, cheques get deposited and all other day to day financial matters are handled with efficiency and accurately. Our services support our clients on tasks they can no longer manage themselves.  

No. Our clients retain complete control (including signature authority) over their bank accounts.

Yes. Financial Concierge Inc. does not provide tax, investment, or financial advice. We work together with, and not in place of, these other professionals. Financial Concierge Inc. will act as your advocate and serve as a liaison between you and your legal attorney, accountant, insurance agent, bank/brokerage firm, and investment advisor.

Yes. Your Financial Concierge™ is dedicated to serving you and will be at every visit, except in times of illness or vacation when another member of the Financial Concierge Inc. team will gladly step in to help.
