Death…
Death is a reality we all face, but none of us know exactly when.
Divorce…
In Canada, the only age group with a rise in the divorce rate is couples aged 50 and up – and in the U.S. the divorce rate among those over 65 has doubled since 1980.
Dementia…
One in four seniors 85 years and older have a dementia diagnosis – and the prevalence more than doubles every five years for Canadians aged 65 and older. Startling statistics when you consider that we are most vulnerable physically and financially during these later years in life.
